SCHUMACHER WINS IN CANADA!!! Michael Schumacher won a wet Canadian Grand Prix, with a Ferrari 1-2. David Coulthard stalled before the formation lap, and hence had to take a stop-go penalty when running in second. This handed the race to the German, and the Scot finished seventh. Fisichella took third as a result of a perfectly timed pit stop - the Benetton's were the only cars to pit once, as everyone else had to stop for wets. Hakkinen came in fourth, followed by Verstappen in fifth and Trulli in sixth. | |||||||||||||||||||
